Which retailer in Toronto lacks, or has the least, Service Fee?
Resident of Toronto Canada, my dad needs a new ResMed Airsense 10. He shopped around at 19 stores - online and physical - but all their Service Fees are at least $300 CAD! Please recommend a store - either online or in person - with NO, or the LEAST, Service Fee? Thanx!

What kind of service fees are you talking about? I have never seen or heard of these. If you are talking about fees to monitor usage and results then ask yourself if he really needs that. The simple answer is probably no. You can certainly buy a new machine without service fees at any online retailer in Canada and I am pretty sure at any brick and mortar store as well.

CPAPOutlet.ca (where I get all my supplies) does not have any kind of fee on their devices.

Your original post stated these fees were being charged by both online and physical. The online stores don't have the consulting and fitting fee.antinatalism wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 9:04 pmthese service fees are charged by every store visited by dad!
I'm not sure the online stores support the Ontario ADP discount.

Quite apart from the service fees, both quotes seem to include items you wouldn't normally need, but are probably high margin items designed to inflate the vendor's profit. Eg in the first quote the allow for a machine including heated hose, plus $70 for a heated hose (presumably a spare). Likewise they've allowed for a full face mask plus mask cushion and headgear. And regular plus hypoallergenic filters.
The second quote includes an item for "CPAP upgrade $300". What's that for? And the filter price is ridiculous.
You haven't given us any background information, so we don't know if this is your dad's first machine or a replacement. If it's a replacement, he possibly already has masks, hoses, filters etc on hand and shouldn't be paying extra. If it's his first machine I'd still recommend against buying things like spare cushion and headgear - these items should last a year or so if well cared for. In any case he may well find that the nominated mask doesn't work for him, in which case the spares would be wasted.
I know this doesn't answer your question, but there is more than just the fees that need to be queried.
