Replacement Strap for Headgear AirFit N30i

I received the scheduled 6-month supply replacements on time. It included an AirFit N30i head gear. All I received in the sealed package was the head gear without the blue strap that holds the head gear to mhttps://www.cpaptalk.com/download/file.php?id=20002

y head. The old strap has lost its elasticity. What must I do to obtain a replacement strap?

The strap isn't elastic, the give comes from the rubber side straps on the frame. The blue strap on youe previous mask was working just fine, before you opened your new mask.

Call whoever sold you the mask, inform them the blue strap is missing and you'd like to replace it. The existing strap will work just fine until your new one arrives.

Having said that, the first thing I do when I get a new P30i mask is replace the blue strap. I bought a Respironics DreamWear Strap with Arms. It fits perfectly and prevents the mask from slisding up the back of my head. So far, it's lasted me over three years.

I'm also a fan of the Dreamwear headgear on the N30i and P30i. If you search on Amazon you will find 3rd party sets for very reasonable prices (less than $10 for a strap and side pieces), I've tried several of these and all I've tried so far are just fine. The Respironics mask with the Resmed headgear is much better for me than either mask as its sold (I've used both).

After 30 minutes of looking for a price less than $10 the lowest I found was $14 so I ordered a Dreamware strap.
The second photo of the strap shows that somebody cut another slot into it making me wonder if I did the right thing.

Regardless, thank you for posting the photos and for your replies. Perhaps the War Dept. (for whom I ordered the strap) will also be thankful...

Why would adding an additional slot so that the strap can be tightened make you wonder if you did the right thing?

Sometimes I read the responses to my comments and it makes me wonder if I did the right thing.

I was just curious. It didn't dawn on me that one would could cut additional slots in the headband to increase tightness when fitting the band.
