pressure settings

Post by packitin » Tue May 13, 2025 6:46 pm

I just received my Aircurve 11 a couple of hours ago. (my aircrve 10 had 10000 plus hours on it, so I applied for a new machine)
I hooked it up and tried it out, and all seemed well, except it kept shutting down after a few minutes. I checked all hoses and tubes and they were tight, so I was wondering why it shuts down. Also it was very much louder than my 10, so I thought, oh no, I've made a mistake with this new machine.

I found a video of someone who had the same problem and knew how to fix it. It turns out that you have to pull out the humidifier and check the hose receiver on the right that has a rubber gasket. The piece can be pulled out, and pushed back in until you hear a click, to make sure its fixed and stable. Apparently in shipping, sometimes it can become dislodged. Sure enough that fixed my problem.

Other than that, everything is going o.k. At first, I couldn't place my old pressure numbers into my new machine, but then realized that one has to place in the whole no., then scroll up a little and then the ".0" symbol appears in the bottom corner, and then just push, and the increases (from .2 to .8, ) appear. Don't you love reading directions, and sometimes I skip over parts, much to my chagrin.

Thanks,
Packitin
