I use a Breeze and like it very much, but I am willing to try the new optilife because I like new toys.
I use the largest size pillow that I know of, the green one, but remember something about a dilator pillow, possibly purple.
Is this one larger than the green?
Are pillows interchangeable on different pillow systems- adams circuit, breeze, and now the Optilife?
DME never heard of silator pillows and wants 137.00 since i have not met my copay. I can get it for 97.50 at cpap.com.
I am easily confused though.

Re: Pillows interchangeable?
That would be a good question to ask the phone support people at cpap.com. I think the lavender (light purple) dilator pillows for the Breeze are longer than the light green Large pillows that you use. Dunno if they are bigger around -- perhaps they are, but I doubt it.) I think it's mainly that the dilator pillows are longer, extending farther up into the nostrils. I believe the purpose of the dilator pillows is to prevent inward collapse of nostrils that have weak cartilage. If you've been happy with the regular Large pillows for your Breeze, you probably wouldn't like (or need) the "dilator" pillows.tomjax wrote:I use a Breeze and like it very much, but I am willing to try the new optilife because I like new toys.

As I understand it, the Breeze and Adams Circuit do use the exact same nasal pillows...same size, same pillows themselves. I doubt if the Optilife uses the same ones.tomjax wrote:Are pillows interchangeable on different pillow systems- adams circuit, breeze, and now the Optilife?
I use the Large (light green) pillows for the Breeze. But in most other masks' pillows, Medium suits me best. However, I can also use the Large in any of them since I have that extra strap around the front of the pillows keeping them in place... Twilight NP (Aura), ComfortLite 2....

Oh, Tom -- to add to the confusion, you might want to think about the routing of hose-to-mask before you spring for a different style. If you like to keep the main air hose out of your way, hanging it overhead, look closely at the direction the hose might have to go on some masks. Some masks don't lend themselves well to routing the hose overhead. That's a deal breaker for me as I like to hang the main air hose up where I can toss and turn underneath it easily. I don't like masks that have to be worn with hose hanging down, or clipped to the side on sheet, PJ's, pillow, etc.
