Lost hours in reporting software

I am using "Mysleep" with a Airsence 11. I find that very often it will not continue to record (and report) the nights hours after I visit the bathroom. I just remove the mask and stop the machine manually and do the reverse three or four minutes later when I go back to bed.

The software at least half the time will not continue the recording for the night.
Suggestions welcome.

When I said " I stop the machine" I meant I go back to standby and the air pressure stops temporarily. I also forgot to mention the total hours for the nite are correct on the AirSense 11. So seems to be a software glitch. So looking for a reflash cure or ??
