reinstall encore pro again

my smart was not detected after 4 times of using it, i tried all suggestions from the forum, so i uninstalled the program and reinstalled the program again. apparently it did not install, because i never got the encore pro icon on desktop, now when i insert the cd rom into the cd drive it doesnt do any thing, i dont know what to do now, i would like get it going, i only got to use it about 3 weeks, thanks all,

It's hard to tell without more specifics. Try going into My Computer, and then the actual CD and starting the installer by hand.

When you say it "wasn't recognizing" what do you mean?
