Since going back on CPAP in Oct 2024 (put on CPAP in 1997 with a long break due to UPPP surgery) I've been working (via the two forums I'm on) to dial in my therapy to a point that it works but is as painless as CPAP can be.
As of late. My therapeutic pressure has been 95% 11.5cm. So yesterday I upped the min from 10 to 11/epr2. Not sure if last night was just a plain ole good night or a good night from the small change. But I'll gladly take it and pray that it stays this way.
Seems that as my min pressure has gotten closer to my therapeutic pressure over the last few months and also simply getting used to the treatment. The smoother my flow chart has become. So fewer sleep disruptions.
Next decision is the nose. I have always battled some congestion. But my FL's have also been moderating as of late to a 95% of .03/.05. Perhaps it's our high wintertime humidity in Walla Walla that has my nose a bit happier. I'm scheduled for a Vivaer treatment in Feb. But I'm starting to rethink that. But as Vivaer is a minimally invasive in office procedure. There isn't too much of a downside other than maybe needing to stop CPAP for a time.
