Resmed AirMini For Sale....SOLD

Post by RCurtis » Mon Dec 16, 2024 1:20 pm

I should have listened to all of the talk here on the forum! But I just had to try an AirMini in an attempt to lighten my travel load. Well...after the very first night I knew I was not going to be able to cope with the big difference in noise (as compared to my Airsense 10 machine.) So, I ordered the inline Q-Lite muffler and hose adapter. That pretty well solved my noise issue but I knew I was going to need to adapt the mask I'd been using with my home machine. I ordered the hose & connectors needed to fit my Mirage FX mask. After about 4 more nights I knew that I was going to have to abandon this arrangement due to it not having a water chamber. The HumidX system just was not the same as what I've been used to for several years! I was/am totally and completely accustomed to the Airsense 10 humidity. So...I am reluctantly offering up what I have for about a 50% savings. I'm not going to list each piece that I have with its price...you all know the prices of this equipment. So...here's what I have:

1) Resmed AirMini w/original box
1) Airfit N20 mask (only used to check for fit...never used it in actual use)
1) Q-Lite muffler
1) Q-Lite muffler tubing adapter to fit the AirMini
2) "Standard/Universal" hoses
1) Original AirMini hose
1) HumidX tablet (unopened)

I will offer all of the above for $600. This is a bit less than 50% total.
If interested, I can be reached at rickcurtis54@gmail.com
Somebody can really rack up some savings if you are in the market!

Am I asking a fair price for this? Open to discussion!

Be patient. Not everyone is going to be wanting that (or any) travel machine for any number of reasons.

Your asking price is probably quite fair but unless someone is in the market for a travel machine it's not going to really matter what the price is.
Example....I couldn't use that machine because of the lack of adequate humidification so I wouldn't be interested even if you were giving it away.

So you need to wait until someone wants that machine and that mask and that person may not even see your post for several days.

Thanks Pugsy! I was just concerned that I had a fair price. Never having posted anything for sale like this before I really didn't know the ropes.

Love the full disclosure, but how many people are interested if your opening describes how it was a mistake to buy?

LOL! I was simply trying to "explain away" why it turned out to not be the right choice for me. I was very leery from the beginning about the "noise" issues that many people had spoken of. As it turned out...I solved that issue with the Q-Lite muffler...and then ran headlong into the humidification problem for which there was no good solution (for me, that is.) I understand you can get external humidity chambers but my original goal was to try and trim down my equipment for travelling. My loss is (hopefully) someone else's gain!
