Does Resmed AUTOSET Model 11 have a remote?

Is there an included, optional or even third party remote just for starting and stopping the Resmed 11. I am about to get Resmed 11.

Currently I use Resmed 10 autoset. Yes, it does have auto start and stop based on mask wearing or removal. But the autostop practically does not work here, when at higher humidity settings. This could simply be a bad algorithm or possibly my unit has become bad.

I am primarily interested to know about the existence of a remote, rather discussing other related issues. Thank you very much. I am returning after many years of absence, been a cpap user for about 20 years...

No....I don't believe that there is any sort of remote available. Sorry.

Now they did separate the auto on and auto off functions in to 2 different menu choices instead of the SmartStart that the AirSense 10 used.

I don't know if the auto off part works any better or not with the AirSense 11 models.

What mask do you use and what pressure? The auto off part of the AirSense 10 smartstart problem is a known issue and seems to be related to specific masks at lower pressures. I have that issue with my machine depending on mask used.
I mention this because it may not be that your old machine is acting up. Might be "normal" for your mask at your pressure.
