By all means keep and fix the one you have. CL machines might be full of cat dander or cigarette smoke or worse! I think the motor replacement is not too big a deal, even for a prospective 'for Her' customer. Watch Nick's video on it and decide for yourself:

You don't need the screwdriver kit he uses... a simple T10 Torx screwdriver is enough to disassemble the entire unit.
Vandownbytheriver! I had to read that twice. Goodbye, platonic crush I was developing after coming across this thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=188189&p=1455024&hi ... r#p1455024 in my weekend of CPAPtalk research...

I'll see if I can pull myself away from my makeup collection long enough to figure it out.

Would you steer clear of Airsense 11 autoset? I saw your thread about 11 issues.
Yes, of course. It's a tarted up AirMini... the 10's are bee's knees.
Oh, no. Now why would they go and do that? That's disappointing... well noted and thanks for the warning.

I was reading previous posts on related topics and saw you had installed VAuto firmware on an Airsense 10 I believe it was, and had gotten it to show up as an AirCurve? Is this also possible with Autoset for Her on my existing Airsense 10 Autoset? If so, I'm thinking I might try my hand at a new fan and jailbreaking it...
Yes, all things are possible. PM me for more. My gurus don't think much of 'soft' or 'for her' algorithms but being a penis bearer I cannot attest either way.
ExCiTiNg. Will do.

I would encourage anybody who has it to give the "For Her" a test, anyway... according to this article, it was actually more beneficial for men... https://austinpublishinggroup.com/geron ... id1083.pdf

Glad to help. I've been in a lifelong fight with my sinus... before oxymetazoline life was hell. Now life is just heck. If you look into the mechanism it uses it puts your sinus (and other tissues, avoid swallowing) into 'fight or flight' response, just as an adrenaline release or epi-pen would. Definitely a meta- type of mechanism.
I wish I didn't know that, now... will it mess with my head when I try to sleep? Will report back.

As I said, PM me before making any further choices... and watch Nick's video to see if you have enough snakes-n-snails to getter done.

You don't need the screwdriver kit he uses... a simple T10 Torx screwdriver is enough to disassemble the entire unit. Also, please note that I did not have the testicular (!) fortitude to take apart my main machine with no backup... I had bought a C2C during Black Friday, ridiculous price of 399USD. Now I'm losing count of how many I own... by tomorrow afternoon it will be five. Since I fulfilled my deductible with the sleep titration I figured the insurance company owes me a new Aircurve 10 vAuto.

You'll note I got that machine for the ridiculously low price of 65$ and a nasty downtown drive. Had it been laden with cat cigarette turd smoke I could have saved it, in fact that's what I was expecting. Still have that new motor waiting. You're not near me are you? Austin TX?

Now you have a gender based challenge! Watch the video, it's not hard.

Very interesting... but if you want nice round waveform tops bi-level gets you there. Instead of just upping the airway environment pressure it bumps each breath. The paper does not deal with my (and others') hypothesis that APAP is not the best therapy for most people... once your proper pressure is found why wait to have problems so the machine can 'fix' them? EPR is often used like this... but it sucks, in that it is not bumping your breath, it's sucking your exhale. There's a reason they sell the exact same hardware with more expensive firmware... it's just better.

That's why you blow the medicine out instead of ingesting it. I only dose one nostril.

Well, here was last night and my lunchtime nap today. Beyond exhausted. Congestion increased severely and the new settings didn't like me. I started feeling so claustrophobic and put soft back on, narrowed the range up. I couldn't handle it any more and tried to sleep without it, fail.
