Tube holder and humidification
Tube holder and humidification
My tube holder is about 3 ft above my head. My question is whether holding the tube that high interferes with my humidifier getting moist air to my mouth. I have a Dreamstation 2 and am not getting adequate humidity. I have humidfier tank and heated hose. I have both set to maximum humidity. Apparently Dreamstation 2 defaults to adaptive mode. I would hate to have the tube sit on my body, but if it improves the humidity issue it would be worth it.
Re: Tube holder and humidification
Where the hose/tube is located (hung up or draped across your body) does NOT make any difference in the amount of moisture the air is holding or giving.

Re: Tube holder and humidification
This is symptomatic of leaking air through your mouth. It will cause dry mouth. No CPAP humidifier can overcome this.
