I'm basically despondent over having to use this but I'm trying.
Besides the heavy weight of the mask on my face, trouble with stuffiness/trying to breathe, I finally drift off after wearing the mask for hours (full face mask after trying ALL the other ones) and minutes later... I suddenly wake up.
I don't know if the pressure increased from an apnea or what...? This happens again and again. How is being woken up every 10 minutes better than getting actual sleep? Do you just get used to it?

Once I got used to it, the cpap became kind of soothing.
Hang in there.
It gets better--LOTS better.

Which model CPAP and FFM are you using? What are your pressure settings?

As chunkyfrog says, it *does* get better.
A few questions: How long have you been using your machine? Could you tell us the make and model of your machine plus the name of your mask? And do you know your pressure settings, plus any settings like EPR or Flex?
Try setting up your machine outside your bedroom during the day or evening and using it while you do something distracting, like watching TV, reading, or using your devices. This can really speed up the process of getting used to the new experience.
