Airsense 11 machine reports say central events

Hi brains trust,


I have recently brought a arisense 11 after trailing the 10 ( auto set pressure 4-20) , on the trail of the 10 (nasal mask only) i had very few central events both on the machine and oscar.

The 11 is recording 5+ central events max to 13,(auto set pressure 4-20) But Oscar is only recording a few, below 5 if lucky.

Any idea why this is happing ? the only difference is the mask on the 11 i am trailing a full face (F20)

I did try to use the search engine and google but no real help

How's your sleep quality in general? Spending much awake time with mask and machine on?

My sleep is ok, well I thought it was OK until I did the sleep study, no I haven't really spent much time awake with the machine and mask on, I am comfortable with it, average usage per night is 6 hours, I fall asleep really quickly within 10 mins

OSCAR can only show what the machine records so I am confused as to why the machine is showing different numbers than OSCAR shows.

Can you post an OSCAR detailed report?

Would you please post your sleep study results with personal information redacted? That would show us whether you had a lot of central apnea the night of your study and other useful information that could help us to help you.

So how long have you been on cpap....trial and now???
Where are you located?

Can you try turning off EPR or reducing it or setting it to ramp only? That might help reduce the number of centrals.

Do you still have the nasal mask available to use?
