I use the Dreamwear mask, but the best way to clean the frame isn't obvious, for it is hollow and the air goes through it. I siphoned soapy water through it, then plain water, then used an air pump connected to it to get it dry. It's not very convenient, though.
The use of ozone would turn it yellow over a period of time. Unlike the machine itself, it's a disposable accessory, but I'd really rather not treat it in a way that would shorten its life.
Anyhow, if someone on this list likes this mask and uses it often, perhaps they can offer tips for cleaning it. It is more difficult to clean than other masks.

Re: Cleaning Dreamwear
If I used that type of mask I wouldn't do anything to the frame in terms of extra work washing the frame insides.
Nothing goes into that frame but room air that has passed through a filter in the machine. How is it going to get dirty????
Maybe wash the cushion part but that's going to be it and I probably wouldn't do that a lot either.

Re: Cleaning Dreamwear
Most of us don't go overboard cleaning our cpap equipment.
It's just not necessary.
If there is stuff you can see or feel, go ahead.
Otherwise, resist the urge to make your DME wealthy,
because too-frequent cleaning reduces the life of parts.

Re: Cleaning Dreamwear
I used a DreamWear under nose cushion and only clean the cushion every day with an unscented baby wipe. I use to be stickler about weekly washing of everything and stopped about 15 months ago with no ill effects whatsoever. I will wash the water chamber every couple of months and change the air filter every 2-4 weeks.

I’m a year in to cpap. The first 4-6 months I would just rinse my equipment weekly as instructed by the DME UNTIL… one day I decided to throughly cleaned my humidifier tub more victoriously. During that cleaning I used Dawn dish detergent and a paper towel to clean the tub. I noticed reddish/pinkish streaks appearing on the paper towel. I’d refold the paper towel and continued to clean the tub only to still see more reddish/pinkish streaks. I then examined the tub first at arms length, but couldn’t see anything unusual, so i continued cleaning and still saw the reddish/pinkish streaks. Finally I held the tub UP to the bathroom light and saw a reddish and fuzzy residue in a couple of the corners of the humidifier tub. That was a wake up call about being more attentive, through and consistent with cleaning my equipment. I don’t know what that reddish/pinkish residue was, but I knew it was something I did not want to be breathing in. So weekly I rinse and wipe. Once a month I clean my equipment more throughly.
