Air Curve 10 VAUTO

Post by WW4B » Thu Aug 10, 2023 10:23 pm

Can an air curve 10 vauto be set to a static pressure in VPAP auto mode. And, what do you do with the PS value. Wouldn't the PS value default to 0.
Currently in auto mode with Min EPAP 8.4, Max IPAP 14 with PS set at 5. Have read some posts whereas some people may have more positive therapy results when using a static pressure. Realize my air curve has a cpap mode as well as an S mode but prefer to keep it in auto mode to utilize PS if possible. Given my current settings how would I set up my machine using a static pressure.

It's easy. Set your min EPAP at X, your pressure support at Y, and your max IPAP at X + Y.

For example, my minimum EPAP is 5, my pressure support is 5, and my max IPAP is 10. Every inhalation has a pressure of 10, and every exhalation has a pressure of 5.
