I have tried to get the Airfit P30i to work for a long time but have given up at this point. The problem is that it is almost impossible to use a chinstrap underneath the mask because of how the mask is designed and the bulk of it. I have tried so many chinstraps and it just does not seem to work and the mask will not sit correctly on my face with a chinstrap. I need a chinstrap to keep my jaw from dropping, I use tape to keep my mouth shut. I have also noticed that AHI is mostly horrible when I use the mask. I do not know why, but I attribute this to the Quiet Air vent and that it makes breathing and mostly exhalation abnormal for me and the vent also gets wet or clogged with dust and I have to replace them quite a bit. Once they are old I find I cannot breathe through the mask comfortably at all. I think the breathing overall is not great on it and this does something where my AHI increases dramatically.
Has anyone else experienced these issues with the vent or figured out the chinstrap situation? I have to go back to the Philips Nuance Pro, I hope they never discontinue the Nuance.

Re: Problems with Airfit P30i...
not specific to your situation, but you could use a firm foam cervical collar to keep your jaw from dropping.
works well for me.
good luck!

Re: Problems with Airfit P30i...
I highly recommend using MaskFit AR. It's a new mask scanning technology created by an RT that scans your face <0.1mm measurements and doesn't take any images. It's free to visit the website www.maskfitar.com and click "Fit-Checker". All you do is put in your current mask, perform a scan, and it tells you if it's a good fit or not. Then if you choose, you can obtain the list of masks that would fit you best based on your scan results and profile. 50% of PAP users are non-compliant and 85% of those are due to the mask. This is why finding the very best mask for you is so important to your success. Hope this helps.
