New Replacement Dreamstation2 Problems

Post by Pghjoe » Fri Aug 04, 2023 11:26 am

I finally received new Dreamstation 2 after waiting almost a year. Worked great for four months. Now, message comes up that alerting inadequate voltage. Cpap doesn't work. Called provider. They said it is probably power supply or cord and overnighted me new one. That lasted for two weeks. Same inadequate voltage alert and inoperative machine. Called provider back. They said since it was replaced directly from Respironics, I have to deal with them directly. Called Respironics. After 25 minutes on phone with agent that spoke very broken English, he informed me that they would send out another power supply. It's not the power supply, it's the machine. If I can't resolve this, I have to get new machine. Health provider said I can buy LUNA, because they are cheap. I'm thinking ResMed11. Any suggestions? I'm done with Respironics after 25 years.

do you have to go through insurance or can you pay out of pocket?

if the later, send a private message to forum member lsat. he often has machines with very low hours.

it could also save you money to buy a resmed airsense 10.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
