I have been using a Resmed 11 with an F20 ffm for the past 8 mths after an overnight polysomnography. My Dr recommended the sleep study as I was waking up gasping for breath once a night on a irregular basis for a number of years. I stopped having these episodes when I started my cpap therapy but last night I woke up gasping for breath. My question is, can this be normal when using cpap? Has anyone experienced this?
I'm wondering my set pressures has anything to do with it? Dreading this happening again.
Thanks

Not if it's adjusted properly for your needs.
Get OSCAR

Re: Woke up Gasping
You could try working with your sleep doctor on reviewing and adjusting your settings, or you could get some help with that here.
You'd need to be able to supply key information, though. Do you have a laptop or desktop? Would you be willing to download the Oscar software (see link below)? If yes to both, then what you also need is an SD card in the slot on the side of your machine plus a way to move the data from the SD card to Oscar. This would require either a built-in SD card read in your computer or a plug-in SD card reader.
Does this sound feasible?

we are each of us different and thus our sleep is too. also, what will work for me may not work for thee.
so if you can, please share some data with us.
