Just looking for assisstance in optimizing my treatment please !
Hello all!
I was diagnosed about a month ago with an AHI of 124.1. I started cpap therapy at the beginning of May '23 and thought I could handle setting it up myself. I was very wrong lol The first night, about May 5th, was FANTASTIC, i woke up refreshed and felt so much better! Every night after that has been less and less refreshing.
I'm using a Resmed Autoset 10 in APAP mode, its now at 8 - 20 for pressure, EPR 3, and ramp is turned off now.
Below are my OSCAR results from the past 3 nights. If anyone could help me figure out where I'm supposed to be, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

Were the huge gaps in 1 and 3 bathrm visits?
Re: Just looking for assisstance in optimizing my treatment please !
I'd start by raising your min pressure to 12, because 8 is way too low.
Also, next time, if you'd click on the short session from the previous night, down on the lower left of the screen, and turn it off, there won't be all that white space in the middle of the screen. See if you can also get the flow limitation graph on screen too, please.

Very sorry, i was getting some help over at apneaboard.com but they just stopped replying to me. Here is an updated chart with me now wearing a scc because i have really bad positional apnea apparently. What do you think?
Edit: It won't let me attach any screenshots

The soft cervical collar didn't help. Were you on your back this entire time? Or just that last ugly cluster time?
Your report shows a minimum of 7 and a max of 14 with EPR at 3 and you are pretty much maxing out the 14 upper limit.
You need more maximum pressure for sure and I would bet you also need a higher minimum.
Probably at least a minimum of 10 and max of 20.

Yeah, i have two different sizes but they seem to both be hit or miss. The big cluster i know i woke up and fell asleep on my back. I'm not sure if I'm just using the scc incorrectly or what.
I will make these adjustments and report back tomorrow! thank you.

I often worry that efforts to side-sleep are more disruptive to sleep than the results of back-sleeping, but in your case, I think it's hugely important that you stay off your back. You might start by wedging a pillow behind your back while you're on your side. Also, if the pillow under your head is a high pillow, or if you use several pillows, try switching out to a single, firm, fairly low pillow.
In each chart that you post, please include all and only the following:
Events
Flow rate
Pressure
Leaks
Flow limitations
Snores.
After you move those graphs to make them your top six graphs, you can squeeze all of those into a single screenshot by grabbing the gray bars that separate the graphs and pushing them up a little.

Why doesn't anybody read the things that say "EVERYONE READ"?
Maybe you should change the titles to DO NOT READ! CONFIDENTIAL! SKIP THIS!
I bet everyone would read them then!

A foam cervical collar should be fitted and worn so that your neck is in line with the remainder of the spine. If your neck is bent forward, your airway tends to be crimped. Your chin should not fall inside the collar.

Thank you so much. I may have been a little overzealous when I first arrived and skipped some basics because I'm just so ready to sleep well.. I will be sure to format like this tomorrow when I post. Thank you again

It's great to hear you feel you slept well. How much of the night do you think you spent on your back? Did you make any changes aside from the changes to your pressure settings?
About your flow limitations: do you have a stuffy nose?

Better, what are your settings actually? (since what Oscar shows is incorrect).
