Re: What happened to me here? CA's back to back

Were you awake much during this sleep session?

Looks like awake breathing to me and if so, ignore them in terms of your OSA therapy but they do point to not sleeping well which can be a problem.

You don't have central sleep apnea or complex sleep apnea though.

Only been with my APAP for a little under the week. Only diagnosed with OSA 24.5 but on the 22nd had an awful OSCAR report.
Just wondering for some insight on what happened this night? Had a bunch CA back to back and then a few random ones later in the night. Should I be concerned? hasn't happened since.
First of all, I agree with Pugsy: This stretch looks like it could very well be wake breathing or sleep-wake-junk breathing.

Now the UA scored at the very beginning AND the much smaller breaths around that UA are also interesting because UAs are not typically scored by except when there's leaking going on. But your leak data doesn't indicate a significant problem with leaks.

It would help the detective work if you would reduce the size of the flow rate graph (and also reduce the y-scale on that graph) as well as include the following graphs in your image: Flow rate, flow limitation, snore, and leak.

And it would help to see what was going on for during the 5 minutes before this stuff starts, and at the same level of zoom as this shot.

I am not sure if I did the parameters correctly but the first image is around the same time with a few more charts, flow, leak, snore. The second a few minutes leading up and the third I included other info like Insp. and Tidal.

You weren't asleep. Only asleep flagged events matter in terms of OSA therapy itself.
The not asleep flagged events just point to poor sleep in general which is important but not in terms of therapy/treatment itself.

Looks just like mine did some time ago where I know for sure I was awake. I had a major battle with insomnia this night below. I didn't ever go to sleep (even remotely) until after 1:30 AM or that second cluster of centrals. This insomnia was from a life stressor unrelated to my OSA or any airway issues.

I'm sorry, Pugsy, that you have deal with this rude, crude, ugly mouth troll.
Know that we who adore and respect you are legion.

Edit: I have added the troll to my foe list, as it has sent me a hateful PM.

Thanks. Not the first time and I am sure won't be the last one either.
That sort of shit quit causing me to lose sleep a long time ago. People like that aren't worth it.

Remember what I always say.....you can't save them all and some people don't really want to be saved anyway.
No sense in wasting my time or energy with those people.

Though I will admit it has been a long time since someone used the C word to describe me.
Bitch....I get that more frequently and I will admit that on occasion I have deserved it.

He/She might was well go to the other forum because there likely won't be many people here offer any helpful ideas to this potty mouth little piece of crap.
You all can do (help or not) whatever you want and say whatever you want...I don't care. People on my Foe list I don't bother with them one way or the other. I don't read what they say and I don't get their PMs either.
