STUCK HUMIDIFIER TUB

Post by GREAT » Mon Dec 26, 2022 12:55 pm

I HAVE A RESMED AIR CURVE 10 CPAP AND TODAY I TRIED TO REMOVE WATER TUB FOR CLEANING AND IT WAS STUCK INTO THE MACHINE. I WAS ABLE TO REMOVE IT BUT IT TOOK A LOT OF PULLING AND TWISTING TO REMOVE IT. ANY IDEA WHY. I HAVE LOOKED INTO THE MACHINE AND CHECKED THE TUB AND CAN'T SEE ANY EVIDENCE OF A PROBLEM.

First, see if you can locate your caps lock button, and turn it off.

Then clean the heating plate and bottom of the humidifier chamber.

Don't you take the tub out every day or two to refill it?

The OP is very new to the forum--possibly also to cpap.
Tank removal is easier with a good, hard squeeze--top to bottom,
on the tank itself, while bracing the left hand on the body of the blower.
I was able to do this right after hand surgery, so strength is not an issue.
