Cold Verses Warm and Humid

Post by HeatherHeather52 » Wed Jun 15, 2022 9:11 pm

I am so thrilled I stumbled upon this site! I am new to my cpap and after reading some post. I was able to eliminate one issue i am having getting used to my CPAP.
I cannot stand to breath warm humid air. It has been a major issue in getting used to wearing a CPAP for me. Once I read that I can turn the humidity down on the machine. And now feel a difference I am so delighted that now I have one less uncomfortable thing to deal with while using the machine. Thank YOU !

Welcome to my world! I decided right away when I started therapy that I didn't like it either and turned mine off, too.

You're welcome.

If your nasal passages aren't dry, you can actually turn the humidifier off and leave the tank dry. Many of us do, and that includes me.
