After I chastised him for keeping this to himself
It sounds like you have Frank under pretty good control. Never give an inch - that makes a good wife and your long marriage. Deep down, he probably appreciates it.
BTW, one thing you said made me wonder if you could be talking about a
room humidifier instead of a CPAP machine humidifier??
we stop using a humidifier in bedroom. Don't feel there's much point in trying to humidify the state of New Mexico.
Thank you ChicagoGranny. Humidifier we stopped was a room job. The CPAP humidifier we always use.
As to controlling Frank, I don't. I really just try and keep track of everything medical and see that he's taking the meds as he should and not double-dosing. We jokingly refer to him as Mr Science because he ain't and never has been. And for full disclosure, no wife here, just a couple of guys. Our half-century of success is due to ... consensus. We both give inches all the time.

OK, two guys. If they are gay, it's even better. With a man and a woman, I have found the woman better keep the man under her knuckles if the relationship is to last for decades. Gramps has learned to choose his battles with me carefully.

well let's yank this way off topic, then.
i am not under ANYONE'S knuckles, nor is my wife under ANYONE'S knuckles. we live in a committed and caring relationship, where things are discussed and no one has to choose their battles carefully.
you do what works for you. i'm just very glad i'm not in a relationship like yours.
to greenscreen45-sorry for the topic derailment on my part. it just got under my skin. please carry on and i'll be a good boy and stay silent.

It's just a joke, zonker. Go sit in the sun for a while and let the near-infrared photons build up melatonin in your mitochondria to carry away all the cellular toxins you have accumulated during this thread.

so easy to tell in context on a forum. with no winks or smiles or laugh emojis.
gotcha.
