Oscar 1.31 , Resmed Autoset S10 and S9 import problems

Post by ozij » Thu Apr 28, 2022 11:35 pm

Imported from Oscar 1.0.1
Had data for two machines, because my S10 went bonkers for a while, and I used the S9 (separate SD cards).
On 1.0.1 Had wonderful - informative - info in the overview.
After import from backup subdirectories (and after migration, I tried both):
Pressure settings for both machines reported as (Mode and Pressure settings missing; yesterday's shown.)
:o

S10 Pressure settings will appear correctly only on data I imported from the S10 SD card.

However, 1.31 I loses my historical info - which is important when I want to see trends.
When migrating, S9 identification overrides S10 in the profile details (no idea why the S9 data gets migrated second); hence the need to import to 2 separate profiles :(

Is there an older version that won't cause those problems and can handle both Autosets?
Chances of a fix/update?
Couldn't find a way of contacting the Oscar developers directly....

Amazed and happy to see those of you from way back when. And special thanks to Pugsy!

I can't help with the import problems and you will need to wait for BlueDragon or one of the others for that.
I don't do computer software stuff so great.

I just wanted to say that I am so happy to see you again. I have thought about you often over the years.
Rested Gal also drops by once in a blue moon.

Good to see you are still alive and kicking my friend. Hope life has been good to you.

Re: Oscar 1.31 , Resmed Autoset S10 and S9 import problems - partly solved?

:D Thanks for your kind words Pugsy.
Life has been treating me pretty well, all in all! I hope the same is true for you.

For anyone interested:
I may have partly solved my import problem by importing data from the S10 SD card to a new profile, before importing the historical data from the "Backup" subdirectory.
I now have a "hole" of missing data from when I used the S9.... which is not as bad as having lost all the S10 settings data the other way around.
