Resmed dead

The electric went out and back on now my machine won't turn on screen black tried unplug and back in nothing

Does the green light on the AC adapter come on? Mine went off one day, but came back on after un-plugging and re-plugging the adapter several times. I'm guessing a surge activated a protection circuit shutting it down
