ISO The Best APAP, Quiet and Light Weight, Please Advise!

Hi 'Pap folks,
I need to replace my machine and I don't know what's new and great. Apap, for use with nasal cushions, no humidifier needed. Easy to travel with. A sturdy little strong apap. What do you recommend? TIA!

I think many people here would recommend any of these three:

ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset
ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset For Her
ResMed Airsense 11.

The For Her and 11 have an extra mode in the settings that may or may not be useful to you.

These machines do an excellent job of breathing with you if you are using EPR (expiratory pressure relief, which drops your pressure a little when you exhale). The are also very, very quiet. They aren't especially small though. Still, they come with a case that I've found easy to travel with.

But if tiny is what you're looking for, you could think about the ResMed AirMini. They are truly tiny! I've never had one, but apparently they're fairly noisy. Their advertising also says the Mini works only with a limited number of masks.

My AirSense 10 was quiet, but I believe the AirSense 11 is even quieter. I think I saw someone post the decibels for each and maybe the AS11 was louder than AS10, but that's not been my experience.

I have recently received an APAP machine and have been using the therapy for a little over a week now. I received a Resvent iBreeze. I believe it is a pretty recent machine as far as it being made. I do not see many people who have it. However, it is very quiet. I just traveled with it this weekend for a road trip and it was very easy to travel with. Came with a nice carrying case, plenty of room for what you need with your machine.

Just my two cents.. I am still very new to this.

Regards,

Alex

After 12 years on cpap, I can only recommend Resmed.
