Wet machine

Post by ktmoney52 » Fri Mar 18, 2022 10:59 pm

I spilled tea and the tea got inside the cpap machine underneath the filters. How do I clean the inside of the machine out?
Also, I did breath in that tea all night through the cpap machine. Should I be concern about my health? Thanks..

How much was spilled onto it? A few drops? An 8 oz cup? 16 oz mug? Quite possible that all the spill was caught by the filter(s), but without being able to see it there is no way to be sure.

Given that you’ve used it after spilling tea into it, if there was a chance of damaging the electronics it likely would have happened. The best way to clean it out is to disconnect the power, take it apart, and dry it out carefully. Short of that you can disconnect the power, take out the filter(s), clean up what you can see, put in new filters, let it sit for a spell to dry out further, cross your fingers, and reconnect the power.

You hopefully lucked out and it will be fine.

Tea smells so nice.
A travel mug in the bedroom, for drinking, not spilling.
Off to dreamland, caffeine free, of course.

Only when you sleep without your CPAP.
