Drools whenever I tried to side sleep

Post by ronragus » Sun Mar 13, 2022 9:50 pm

Any folks here to managed to switch to side sleeping? I kept on trying but I always woke up from drools over my bedsheets and pillows, any pointers on how I should proceed? thx

Always use your cpap.
Flip your pillow over--use the dry side.
Sometimes I drool when I cook--I'm just that good.

i've always slept on my side, so had no problem.

seeing how you have nasal pillows, you might try mouth taping. or the scunci method, described here-

i use the second method, not for drooling but to avoid mouth breathing. i use it in conjunction with a firm foam cervical collar. collar keeps my jaw shut, scuncis keep my lips together.

good luck!

The sensation of a drool used to wake me. For a while I used a stretchy loose headband/sportband at the mouth level. Doesn't stop the drool but keeps one from feeling the drool run down the chin.

As long as the drool is not happening in public,
it can be mopped up and forgotten.
Try not to drool in public.
It is a spectacle, and people will stare.
