Hi all
I need the AirSense ASV for my centrals. Health Care Solutions has a month long wait list.
Any ideas?
I have Cigna insurance.

Re: Trying to find machine
There is indeed a shortage of equipment because of the Respironics recall.
There is a forum member here named LSAT. He sometimes has deals on brand new unused machines, sometimes on gently used low-hours machines. You can search on the board for his posts or send him a PM directly.
Good luck.

Re: Trying to find machine
First thing to do if you are wanting to use your insurance is contact Cigna and get a list of suppliers that they are in network with....then start contacting them to see if they even have the model machine you need.
A lot of times DMEs don't keep those ASV sitting around on the shelves because they cost so much more money and it's not good to have that much money tied up sitting on the shelf for who knows how long.
It's quite common for DMEs to tell ASV patients that they need to order that particular model machine.
Now if you don't want/need to be using insurance....secondwindcpap.com might have one of the older models but they still cost a pretty penny.
LSAT does dabble in machines but he doesn't normally dabble in those high cost machines unless he knows for sure he has a home for it to go to before he buys one.
BTW....It's AirCurve 10 ASV....not AirSense 10 ASV.
Will make a big difference when/if you start asking people if they have one.

Re: Trying to find machine
There is also the 36037 option - ResMed S9 Adapt.
It is the older version of the AirCurve 10 ASV.
It's functionally identical in a different form factor.
You can use the search box below the cpaptalk logo - use the search terms "36037 sale"
The search restrictions for native searching doesn't allow search terms with terms shorter than 4 characters. So if you want to search using the "ASV sale" you need to use google.com
Enter "site:cpaptalk.com sale asv"
Also look at your local facebook marketplace, craigslist, offerup for used units. I would suggest that you deal locally because there are reports of craigslist scammers **selling** ASVs because of the higher values involved.
Good Luck.
