Best night ever for Clear Airway Events!

Post by nlt6mor » Sat Jan 08, 2022 3:05 pm

Have been a hose head for 6 years and mostly get along fine with it. Masks and fitting are always a pain in the ass. I have always had 75% of my treated AHI composed of Clear Airway Events. Made numerous attempts to reduce but to no avail. Only sleeping less than 7 hours reduced them as most occur when stirring in the morning. Broke both my wrists almost two years ago and still working with stiffness and unwanted sensations in my arms. (not pain actually) CBD has helped. Now we have covid and I am doing many things to help evade that problem. Fully vaxed, wear masks when appropriate and try not to get into tight congested situations with groups of people. In addition to my normal vitamin regimen, I have increased my zinc, vitamin D, Fishoil and C. In December with the new variant raising its head, I have started taking Quercetin and NAC for additional protection against viruses. Late December I needed to resupply the Quercetin, the health food store was out and it was becoming harder to source. They had a "NOW" product called Respir-All that contain Quercetin plus additional Vit C, Nettle extract and Bromelian. I bought it as I was going to a concert and some holiday parties and wanted the added protection. Just before New Years I started taking one Respir=All and 1/4 CBD gummy an hour before I retired for bed. Now it surely could be too quick to make this assertion and it could be total coincidence, but I have just had my best week ever sleeping as measured by Oscar. Last night was my best night of sleep I can remember. The obstructive apnea was actually greater than the clear airway events!!! I don't believe I have ever seen the Clear Airway not be the largest contributor to Ahi. That's while useing ERP of 2!! Not sure what to make of it, but I am buying more Respir-All and here is last nights screen shot.

Another good day. I know MyAir has very limited usefulness, but the AHI for me always matches Oscar.

7:25 usage hours 70
Good mask seal 20
0.5 events per hour 5
1 mask on/off 5
Total myAir score 100
