Don't be afraid to ask for a new doctor. 2nd opinions are important when you are looking at expensive tests ! Its seems to me that the doctors that get huffy when you question them are generally bad doctors. Doctors that will explain things and listen now those are the ones you want to keep. They are a rare and precious find.
