Humidx disc and SoClean2 ?

Post by Rcers » Sun Nov 14, 2021 6:37 am

I bought a adapter to use on my airmini after travel. Question: do you need to remove the humidx disc from the hose assembly before running the SoClean ? Thx

Why would you waste your money on SoClean? They're being sued by everyone for doing absolutely no cleaning, steriization or anything else but rotting the insides of you and your machine with ozone.
Also, the big Cpap co's void your warranties if you use it.

Are you trolling?

After Philips Respironics blaming ozone generators for the recall and ResMed voiding warranty for their usage, you still want to use them

My idea on Humidx discs, would be mold and Legionnaires disease, that would worry me. As far as No Clean, You got had. Jim

Folks....be nice to newbies please.

While I know that the Ozone cleaners do employ shills here....I can't always prove it and since we do know that people do decide for whatever reason the the Ozone cleaner is something they want....please don't assume that people who use the devices are automatically shills and only goal here is to get the name of the device out there.

I always try to assume innocent until proven guilty.
How about education instead of name calling or how about simply answering the question instead of lecturing???

The most correct answer to the original question would be simple....
Not many people use the Humidx disc here and even less people use the Ozone device...so not a lot of people to expect to get an experienced user reply.

Maybe politely explain the reason that we don't have many Ozone device users here (at least that will admit publicly  )
and politely maybe suggest contacting the device manufacturers or cpap manufacturer for an answer to the question should someone want to continue using the device.

There's no reason to go name calling or getting snarky to newbies. It always gives me a bad taste in my mouth when I see the forum veterans piling on a newbie. Now when the forum veterans want to pile on other forum veterans...I figure you guys/gals can handle the blow back but newbies aren't yet familiar with the various personalities here or how to handle them and if I cringe when I see a not so nice response....I know a newbie is likely to be blown away by it.

So that begs the question...why do so many people assume that anyone that even mentions the Ozone device is a shill???
Because past experience here has shown that it happens fairly often. I wish that it weren't true but it is and I don't have any way to weed them out initially. I wish that I did but I don't so I am forced to assume innocent until proven guilty.
It would please me greatly if more of the forum veterans would adopt that attitude.

Thank you...climbing down off my soap box now.

FWIW...the AirMini is a ResMed cpap machine.
Maybe pointing to the ResMed official position on use of the Ozone device might be warranted response.

Everyone is welcome here, but some topics are widely considered unacceptable.
The ozone device is number one.
We get shills, paid by the company, all the time.
If you are not a shill, you are welcome here.
Just accept the fact you got screwed, and toss that dangerous piece of junk away.
