I got diagnosed with Mild OSA. Watchpat One from Lofta. Is it a good idea to just buy the Airsense 10 and mask from them

Hello. Sorry for the delay in my response. I have been busy with work.
Im highly considering using my dad's Dreamstation. It is free and it's in my possession lol. I'm just afraid of causing harm to myself with these cancer particles I keep hearing with the foam. I appreciate you offering support. I will make a new thread once I get the Dreamstation set up. Any info on if it's safe, Granny? (user)
we'll await chicago granny. i may have messed that up. if so i'l try again.
Hey, Zonker. I just woke up. Thought I would tell you about my odd night last night. I had 2 memorable events. 2 events were me waking up in a panic and feeling like I couldn't breathe. It was terrifying.
Then I was in a dream like state where I got out of bed and was feeling so trapped and terrified. I was looking for my window in this dream state trying go find light and escape but I realized I was on the opposite end of my room. I found my window and light switch and woke up standing there feeling like I couldn't breathe well and in a state of panic... I fell back asleep shortly after each of these events.
I took work off today and I will be working hard on cleaning the machine. I am afraid of what is happening to my while I sleep.

as to the cleaning: clean as you'd like, but just know it's not really necessary. the only thing going through the machine is the same air you breath out. and whatever someone breaths out while using the machine doesn't go out through the machine. it's dissipated at the mask.
good luck!

I need to find ways not to sleep on my back. Anyways, thanks. I'll just clean it and I'm going to take out the sound abatement foam too so I don't have to worry about cancer and side effects.zonker wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 10:44 amas to the dreams: yikes!Dylanmatthew wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 7:43 am

There's no cancer in there - just one of those $*()#% rumors that get going (like hydroxy whatever/Covid) but are not true. Stop worrying about that!

I think if you wipe the machine off, and wash the mask and humidifier chamber with Dawn (or whatever mild dishwashing liquid or soap you use), rinse well, and let it dry, it will be fine. If you are so inclined, you can look up some cleaning threads. What you will find is that most people clean their masks with either baby wipes or warm soapy water (some daily, some when not), wash out their humidifier from time to time, and that's pretty much it. Some people (yours truly among them) are much more diligent when starting out, and as time goes by, tend to become more lax. Most people do nothing with the hose, as it is just room air that goes through it. And you could always let it blow air through without wearing it for a few minutes, if it makes you feel better. But ultimately, you have to do what makes you comfortable.Dylanmatthew wrote: ↑Thu Oct 28, 2021 4:18 pm
Im going to look up some guides online on how to clean the dreamstation before I use it.
