Resmed Airsense 10 Auto - just received

Post by sleepalot » Tue Sep 07, 2021 5:53 pm

Hi.

I just received my first CPAP machine (Airsense 10) a few weeks ago. I'm currently in the "rent" stage with my insurance company. I just realized the 11 is out now.

Should I try to return the 10 and get the 11? I don't want to get something that will be outdated soon...

Thoughts?

Thanks.

ResMed is going to continue making the AirSense 10 models for some unknown time. It's not going to be discontinued anytime soon.

The AirSense 11 models are in short supply right now and/or your equipment supplier may not have any of the new models yet or they may need to deplete existing inventory first.

You can always ask though.

So far, the only differences we've found is the shape, and that the 11 has a touchscreen, as far as we've been able to tell, they function the same.
