Phone Service 3G to 4 G.

Post by squid13 » Sun Aug 22, 2021 12:32 pm

With cell phone service going to 4G after the first of the year how many machines have 3g service in them. I have 3 machines and 2 are 4G and one is 3G which means if you use MyAir and have a 3G machine they will not connect after the first of the year when the switch is made.

That's really not much of a loss, is it? :)

That's what I thought, so I just threw it out there cause some people do use it.

I suspect there is a workaround in effect for truckers who need ongoing certification.
The phone companies will keep it under their hats, though,
forcing the rest of us to replace perfectly usable phones--
at unreasonable intervals.
As for the myairheads, let them pound sand . . .

I have a little flip phone that I just love but it's 3g so it will be worthless soon.

I miss my flip phone, it was pretty useless browsing the web, but it was *great* at making phone calls.
