Sad Mac user

Post by jeresoph » Thu Jul 22, 2021 1:13 pm

Hello
I’ve decided that I need to understand how a knowledge of software can help me with my machine settings. I’m about to buy an Airsense 10 and does this machine work with MAC OS or does everything need to viewed through the lens of Windows? Or am I mixing up my hardware and my software and it has nothing to do with the machine? Obviously I’m from a non technical background but any advice would be appreciated so I can learn my sleeping history and adjust appropriately.
Thx for any help.
Jeremy

CPAPs don't "work" with computers, they are standalone devices.

Having said that, you can download OSCAR on your Mac, connect to MyAir (Web) from your Mac. I use my Mac to manage my therapy.

Which model? Not all models record detailed data that we use OSCAR software to see.

As for OSCAR software...there is a Mac version available so that isn't a problem. Just make sure that the model machine you get actually records the detailed data.

Airsense 10 models include:
Autoset--all the wonderful features we like
Autoset for her--same as above, plus extra algorithm "for girls".
Elite--fixed pressure, but some data
CPAP--avoid this brick, please.
DMEs like to make more money, and will screw you to get it.
