The light is a gentle color and less than one lux, so it isn’t harsh on the eyes. And it’s easy to get used to the breathing pattern the light dictates.
At one lux you'd need to keep your eyes open to see it.
Sleeping with eyes open, neat trick :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
"As it expands, you inhale, and as it contracts, you exhale. When you follow along with this slow breathing, you allow your body to relax and help it enter a calmer neurophysiological state. This is often referred to as “rest and digest,” wherein the muscles relax, heart rate slows and the body generally conserves energy."
Joking aside, it sounds like guided breathing meditation without the mindfulness portion.

As a focus aid, it may help visual people.

I read about this little gadget a couple of months ago....sort of a review of several people and a good many liked it.

It might help people unwind as well as those who need a visual guide of sorts.
Something to do to take their mind to a less busy state.
Something that might help slow their breathing down if they are a bit hyper and stressed and tossing and turning and breathing erratically.

Blue light? I have always heard that blue light was for waking up and yellow or red was to get us ready for sleep. TV and computers are bad before bed because of their blue light.

I'd call and ask them about that.

Cheaper than an aquarium, I guess;
But our oldest could identify every fish in the advanced aquarist guidebook.
