Sometimes the YouTube recommendation algorithm scares me. Does Google know everything?

Pretty much. Between Chrome, their search engine, and agreement with companies who use their search engine, they know quite a bit. Not even considering the information shared between sellers and google.

We give up privacy for convenience. You can use DuckDuckGo or other search engines, and Brave or other browsers, but it requires more effort to find what you want. It all depends on how much privacy you really want.
