Philips Dreamstation difficult to turn off
Newbie to CPAP and this forum here. I just received and started using my Philips Dreamstation CPAP last Tuesday. My husband has been using the Philips Dreamstation BIPAP for about a year now.
My problem is that I have to push and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds to a minute before the machine will shut off. Whereas my husband’s it’s only a couple of seconds before it will shut off. Is this normal?

Consider yourself fortunate, most husbands don't come with a power button.fedupbeingafatlady wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 5:23 amMy problem is that I have to push and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds to a minute before the machine will shut off. Warning, turning husband off while at home may result in him turning on when not at home. Thanks for all of the prompt (and very needed witty) replies! Come to find out, newbie user error. I admit. I was pushing the bottom "incorrectly". Like I said, I am a newbie. Thanks again everyone!
