Operating a CPAP in a DRY climate

Post by Desert mans wife » Fri May 07, 2021 7:30 pm

The Dreamstation has a specified operating humidity of 15-95%. The humidity here gets down to the single digits, especially in late spring - early summer. Should I get a humidifier for my room? What do you other desert dwellers do?

Definitely get a humidifier. Start it running a couple hours before bedtime, set to 30 to 35%. Close the bedroom door to get the local humidity elevated.

I recommend this model:.

If you have hard water, use filtered water.
