Pressure difference between masks

Post by jcpruitt89 » Tue Apr 20, 2021 1:37 pm

Hello to all,

So I was originally titrated to 13cm h20 in my sleep titration study with a nasal mask. But, I quickly found out this doesn't work as I vent out my mouth. I tried a chin strap, mouth tape and it still doesn't stop the mouth leaking.

So I asked the doctor for a full face mask. I use the resmed airfit f30. But, this doesn't help my sleep or ahi for that matter with my current pressure. Ahi is between 3-5 most nights with it. I feel like if I could of ever made the nasal mask not leak some how it would of worked but idk what to do on that.

So should I ask to do another titration for a full face mask because I've heard the usually require more pressure?

Pretty simple..instead of waiting months for a new titration, increase your minimum pressure from 13 to 14. It takes 30 seconds.
