Sleeping multiple times a day - OSCAR only shows the latest one

Post by tgree » Sun May 03, 2020 5:27 pm

I tend to get interrupted sleep because I'm still not used to my CPAP, from 3am-9am, then 9-11am, but when I import that data into OSCAR, it only shows the latter session - is it possible to show both daily? Thank you!

Which version of OSCAR are you using?
The older version has a bug in it that it only shows 1 session when we import/download more than once within a 24 hour period.
You can purge the date that shows only the one session and import again and all the sessions should show up.

There is a newer version of OSCAR that I think should have this bug addressed.

https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

You might try it and create a new profile and then download to that new profile and start fresh.

I'm having the same problem. I'm using OSCAR 1.2 and it's only showing the data for one short session from yesterday afternoon while I was adjusting settings. I tried purging and reimporting for the 1 day's data. I also checked the SD card file structure and made sure the records for my actual overnight sleep were there, which they were. I also tried copying the SD card's file structure over to my computer's hard disk and deleting all of the records except the ones that I wanted and then importing those. No dice. Suggestions?

UPDATE: Ok, I just tried to update it one more time and it FINALLY imported from the session I was looking for. I don't think I did anything differently. No idea what gives. Would love advice for the future.

I don't know this was your problem but it's an easy fix to check and see.

Apparently OSCAR doesn't always import all the sleep sessions depending on when you attempt the import and the clock on your computer and machine and software. I don't understand it all but it's a maybe reason for your problem and the fix is super easy.
