It's been awhile!!!

Post by cnl390 » Fri Jul 03, 2020 4:32 pm

I haven't been on the forum for at least year, because quite frankly I haven't had a problem or anything constructive to add.
But I just received a new Resmed Airsence 10 and am wondering what program everyone is using to access information from their machines. I have Sleepy Head and the Resmed software that I downloaded 5 years ago, but don't know if these or the best or even up to date.

Sleepyhead is defunct now, but it's been continued as "OSCAR."

Which AirSense 10 model did you get?

There are 4

AirSense 10 CPAP
AirSense 10 Elite
AirSense 10 AutoSet
AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her

Your ResScan software will likely need to be updated to read the AirSense data files....5 year old ResScan version probably won't work but you could try it.

SleepyHead is still available and will maybe work and depending on which version you have...might work still but SleepyHead is dead where it sits. Won't ever be updated further. OSCAR is an offshoot of SleepyHead but there is a team actively working on it and doing bug fixes and as new machines get released it will be kept updated.

So depending on what SleepyHead version you currently have...it might still work well enough but if buggy ...it won't be fixed.
OSCAR is much faster and has the same look and is easy to use. Might as well use it.
