trouble breathing with CPAP
trouble breathing with CPAP
Last night I tried to you my ResMed CPAP machine that I haven't used in years. I cleaned it....strapped on the 'nose cups' and promptly noticed hat if I didn't keep my mouth shut tight, it blew air out of my mouth and vibrated the back of my throat and made it impossible to sleep/breathe. What can I do ? I need to use it because I have developed many Sleep Apnea symptoms that are effecting my quality of life. Thanks !
Re: trouble breathing with CPAP
What exact model of the machine do you have and which mask? How old is the machine? What are the pressure settings? Is Ramp enabled?

Either keep your mouth closed or use a full face mask (FFM). FFMs cover nose and mouth. If your mouth opens, the therapeutic pressure is maintained. You can view pics, specs and reviews of FFMs here - cpap.com.dzer1 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 10:56 amLast night I tried to you my ResMed CPAP machine that I haven't used in years.
