Flow Rate Disappeared

Post by NewToSleepApnea » Sat Jun 13, 2020 12:52 pm

My Flow rate chart on my OSCAR disappeared. First day this has happened. Any one have any tips on how to find it? I purged the data and reset the graphs and it didnt help. Almost like the machine didnt record flow rate for some reason.

Was the SD card in your cpap machine all through the night or was it in your computer because you forgot to put it back in the cpap machine?

If it was in the cpap machine was it seated fully?

The SD card must be seated fully and correctly while the machine is being used during the night to get the flow rate graphs written to the SD card. They are large files and not stored in the machine's internal memory storage.

It definitely was in the CPAP machine. I thought it was fully inserted. But maybe not. It recorded all the other data. Just not the flow rate (which is probably all that actually matters!)

Sometimes it appears to be fully inserted and it isn't.

You could try creating a new profile in OSCAR and downloading again on the off chance that something is amiss with the software like you maybe turned off the viewing of that particular graph or something. The new profile will have all the graphs turned on.
Did you turn that graph off by chance? Expand the menu at bottom right of the graphs and look for anything that is red in color.
Red is turned off...just click on it to turn it green.

There is also a way to look on the SD card itself for that particular file. If it's not there it's not there and nothing can be done about it.
I am sorry but I don't remember which file it is. I think it might be the xxx.005 file in the P0 folder but it's been a long time since I have been inside a Respironics SD card.
