Two Questions.

I am new to the Boards so thank you in advance to the community. One question is that on some nights I feel like I am struggling for air but I am not congested and breath through my mouth. What can I do to fix that or what is going on? I have my min setting at 5 and max at 15. Also I seem to get a lot of palpitations when I lie down on some nights. I am wondering if they are cpap related in someway. If they are how do you have less or none of them?

It seems there are periods in the night when you may need more air. A lower setting of 5 is awful low. I'd bump it up to a 7 and see if it helps you out.

The palpitations may be unrelated to CPAP, but they might be reactions to something that's going on -- low pressure, high pressure, events. It's hard to say without more information, so I recommend that you download the Oscar software onto your laptop or desktop, and then import the data from the SD card in your machine. If you don't have a card or a card reader (built in or peripheral), getting them would be a good investment.

From personal experience in the ER as a patient, I bet that the palpitations are manifestations of stress or anxiety brought on by problems adjusting to the cpap.

I'm going to second this, as I experienced them at first too. As my brain got more comfortable with the idea of an alien baby on my face at night, they went away.
