ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet question

Post by jvc300m » Mon Mar 23, 2020 8:45 am

Diagnosed with OSA in 2017. Have used the Airsense 10 every night for 3 years and take good care of it. Full F20 mask with heated hose. AHI "Events" has always been between 0 and 5. All of a sudden, for 8 straight days now, my AHI "Events" are in the 30's and 40's. Would someone advise me what I am supposed to do? Very strange to me how my events have just "spiked". Do I need a pressure adjustment or perhaps a new machine? Help!

What is that AHI composed of?

Do you know about available software to see what that AHI is composed of?

OSCAR https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

More pressure might be needed if the AHI is primarily obstructive in nature.
More pressure won't help if the AHI is primarily central (clear airway) in nature.

More importantly I would be wondering what changed to cause just a marked difference. Meds, leaks, whatever????
