I've been using cpap full face mask with memory foam cushion type seal for 2 years off and on, which does seal well and is much more comfortable, but I, too, have noticed skull depressions where the straps are, so I stopped using the cpap for a while, and the skull indentations began to disappear. But, the problem is I really should use the cpap. I am now searching for an alternative to cpap. If I stay on my side, I don't have apnea problems as much. So, I will keep searching. I have heard of an oral device that a Dentist will make, and an electronic device that installs in your throat, but that bothers me in that it seems to be in there for good.
Even wearing a hat changes your skull, mostly the fat over the bone but more than likely your brain is still floating, if it pushes out your eyeballs or hangs out your ears, you might see a doctor. Jim

Is your comment about skull indentations or

?

Others can speak up, but most of us who have been using CPAP for some years love CPAP because it saves our health and extends our lives.

Unless you have a remarkably soft head, like that of a newborn, the CPAP is not doing anything at all to your skull..

Now, if you have edema of the scalp, it can certainly press some fluid out and create an indentation, just like pressing a thumb into a swollen leg.

My glasses have made grooves on the sides of my face--helps keep them on.
The nose pieces sit in the dimples they have made on the sides of my nose.
I wore contacts for several years--I always looked like I forgot my glasses.
