First week - great results

Post by scott54 » Wed Mar 16, 2005 7:05 pm

I've been fortunate. I have been using my ResMed Spirit APAP with ResMed Swift for a week. I have had extremely good results so far. My sleep study RDI was 101 per hour. Using my equipment it wend to to 3.7 per hour. I can't even begin to describe how much better I feel already. I am not taking naps, able to work without feeling exhausted, etc.

I am extremely grateful for this forum - I learned a lot from the others in this community.

Congratulations Scott!
You seem to be one of the lucky ones who adjust easily. As you have seen in this forum, that is not always the case. I agree with you that this forum makes a huge difference. After 9 years of going it alone I stumbled on it when I googled cpap out of curiosity. I was amazed at the amount of experience and knowledge available to us, and have benefitted tremendously from it. It certainly wasn't like that in the beginning! Don't run away!! We all can contribute, and together we all form a tremendous resource and support system for one another and newcomers.
