Good video to watch, maybe more costly than we want but simple if you have the $$$ to spend.

While watching this video, I got an idea  ! In the HH, Why not turn off the heat and add a sponge in the HH, add some distilled water to the HH leaving the sponge 1/2 exposed, (Out of the water), allowing the air to blow across the sponge adding moisture to the air stream.

I would use a manmade sponge, washed, boiled and dried, stored dry to prevent mold. In the past I have used Passover mode, the air blowing over HH water, the sponge should add more moisture to the air. By having the HH turned off, you would use less power, still get some higher moisture, and not have to worry about overheating when the HH ran dry.

Currently I no long HH, after 10 years, I keep ice water by the bed. Jim

It works well for me, I found a Bubba Stainless Steel Water bottle at Wal-Mart, love it, I bought 4, holds cold with ice over 24 hours, hot 12 hours, well built.

I don't have the Goal Zero he demonstrated, but I do have an Anker PowerHouse 400, which is roughly equivalent. I picked it up for use in the event of long-term power outage since I'm in a hurricane-prone area and wanted an option that was lighter and more versatile than a lead acid battery or dedicated CPAP battery. This definitely fit the bill, but I'd be looking at the Goal Zero if I was shopping for something today.
